About Me
Overview
I am a displaced Yooper, originally from upper Michigan, land of great beauty but few jobs with real opportunity, thus my husband and I live a couple hundred miles south of there. As a Green Bay Packer fan with good memories of living in Green Bay, I would love to return to that area, which would also bring us closer to home.
I am a Christian, mom, wife, daughter, freelance writer, compulsive researcher of all things new to me, and a gardener. I will add teacher to that list because I like to share what I learn with others, which makes my work on About.com and Suite101.com ideal.
My interests on any given day range may from:
- how to get a great close-up photo of a garden spider
- how to keeping rabbits out of the garden without resorting to slaughter (not sure it’s possible)
- how to design a database
- whether a brand of vitamins puts out a reliable product
- how to negotiate a deal on a new car
I also tend to stay up way, way too late at night, ending up deliriously sleep deprived by Thursday, and hopefully sleeping in to catch up on a few zzzz’s on Saturdays.
