Apple Releases 2 New “Get A Mac” Ads

I saw the two new Mac vs. PC ads on TV last night, and ran across a mention of it on Digg. Some of those who blogged the Digg post were upset with the ads, but I find them to be amusing.

There are 5 Windows computers in my house. One of them runs Vista - which I’ve had no trouble with yet. I am intrigued by Macs and may buy one to do software testing for my job. I have friends with Macs - half of them are enamored with them and the other half have had tons of trouble with their Macs. This tells me that Macs are about as reliable as a PC, and for the most part, that is acceptable. As for the Mac vs. PC ads - I love them! They are hilarious, and my husband - an IT professional - and I enjoy laughing at the grain of truth in them. My favorite Mac vs. PC ad is the PC Bloatware one. I am laughing to myself just thinking about it.

As for PC owners who are upset by the ads: just flip through the channels for a couple of minutes then come back to your show, and don’t waste your energy loving something that can’t love you back.
