Attack of the Brown Algae
Brown algae is taking over the aquarium. The algae started very slowly with a small patch in the back of the aquarium. It was not growing on the artificial logs or the artificial plants so I just scraped it off the glass as best as I could when I did weekly water changes, but I never did get all the algae off of the aquarium glass. I should been more diligent at my brown algae removal efforts. It seems that just in the last few days the algae exploded and now it is in small patches on the glass and is growing on logs. I don’t see it on the plants yet.

I am going into brown algae denial. I’m just too busy with work to deal with something that does not endanger the fish so I will have to figure out what to do about it later.
