Quicken Free Trial….Never Mind
I reported back on July 22 that Quicken had a free trial. I guess they changed their mind because the free trial link goes to the Quicken home page with no other link to a free trial that I can see. Bummer…wonder why they took the trial link down? Maybe because Quicken 2008 is about to release. I hope Intuit has the foresight to offer a free trial for Q08.

They probably removed it because, like so many other free trial software that is released on the net, the mass population seem to find a way of turning it into a fully functional and working version. Such a shame really i love to trial software before i buy.
Or it could be that it’s so buggy and inconsistent that you wouldn’t purchase it after experiencing the trial. That’s my opinion of 2008 Deluxe. I’ve heard 2009 isn’t much better as far as functionality (and contains more bugs).
At any rate… I had to dig to find the downloads myself…
